Are you looking for a compact dual dash cam that lasts long and also protects your car? This is what Akaso introduced into the dual dash cam industry. Trace 1 by Akaso is a dual dash cam with HD voice and video recording.
This Uber compact cam can record both cabin and front view together with 1080p at 30 fps. You can select which camera to be active during recording. If you turn off the cabin camera, the front cam can record videos at 1080p at 60 fps.
Akaso uses Sony Starvis lenses for both the front camera and the cabin camera. The cabin camera has 4 IR LEDs above the lens for recording in the low light areas. Both cameras have 170 degrees wide angle and provide 340 degrees coverage. The highlight of Trace 1 is the G-sensor and Parking Monitor.
Most of the dash cameras have loop recording and G-sensor. G-sensor classifies recordings during any impact on the car as emergency videos. These videos will not be overwritten by loop recording.
The Parking Monitor feature increased the protection to your car. Akaso Dual Cam can record a 30 seconds videos if your car detects any impact. This 30 seconds video gets stored as an emergency video for future references. Also, the loop recording cannot modify these videos.
The recommended MicroSD card is of 16GB class 10 and the storage memory can be expanded up to 128GB. The microphone records HD audio and correctly syncs with the video. In the menu, we can turn off the voice recording. We can set the auto turn off time for the LCD screen to save power. Trace 1 can withstand extreme climates up to a limit, thanks to the efficient heat distribution design. The product comes with a 1-year limited warranty and 30 days return policy.
